Meet the Flavor Guide: 353 flavors to explore
Our Flavor Guide brings together 353 French macaron flavor entries, including Classic, Vegan, Naturally Vegan, and Specialty selections. You can still search by a flavor name, such as raspberry, caramel, matcha, or vanilla. Now you can also start with what you see: the color of the macaron shell.
Choose a color and the guide narrows the list to possible matches, with real product photos to help you compare. Some macarons have more than one shell color, so they can appear under multiple color choices.
How to find a macaron by color
- Open the French Macaron Flavor Guide. You can use your phone, tablet, or computer.
- Look at your macaron's shell. Is it pink, blue, green, purple, brown, white, or another color?
- Tap the matching color circle. The guide immediately shows potential flavor matches in that color family.
- Compare the photos. Look for macarons that resemble the one you received, then open a listing to explore the flavor.
- Narrow it down further. You can combine your selected color with a word in the search field—for example, select Pink and search “raspberry.”

Can shell color tell you the exact flavor?
Not necessarily—and that's part of the fun. Several flavors can share the same shell color, and a flavor can appear in more than one color. Shell colors may also vary by design and assortment. Think of the color search as a visual way to explore possible flavors, not a guaranteed flavor identifier.
